The Bolivian government recently announced that it will invest a minimum of a billion dollars to increase its natural gas production and meet the demands of the local market. This is according Carlo Villegas, Bolivia's Minister of Planning and Development.
This will be on top of the millions of dollars worth of investments coming from the private energy companies.
