Nuevatel makes international roaming agreement

In a historical move, mobile communications provider Nuevatel of Bolivia agreed to put an international roaming agreement with Azerbaijan-based Azercell Telecom. This is the first time Nuevatel to make such agreement.

Azercell Telecom, one of Azerbaijan's major telecom service providers, has already made hundreds of contracts with various telecom providers in 145 countries.

Evo Morales on Leave for Surgery

Due to persistent pain on ears and headaches, Bolivian President Evo Morales plans to undergo a nasal surgery recommended by his doctors to correct his health problems.

He had already canceled some of his appearances for this reason and already consulted his Cabinet to pick a date that the procedure should be done.

Vice President Alvaro Gracia would be temporarily be charge as Morales' operation and healing process go on as stated in the constitution.
