The Engineers Without Borders Goes Back To Bolivia

Two graduate students named Emily Robbins and Jodi Gentry, together with their two advisers had packed their knapsacks to go check the Aymaran village at Bolivia.
The team of the KU chapter of Engineers Without Borders plans to build 27 latrines for each Aymaran family and to help drill a well to provide more access to clean water.

I am wondering about the design. The article didn't say if they were UDDT. I am going to build some here in Nicaragua and am looking for the "best" solution. UDDT seems to be the norm but there are different approaches. Tell us what you are doing. Thanks.
