Bolivian Police said that they have broke up an international band of assassins plotting to kill President Evo Morales in the shootout in eastern Bolivia.
Three were killed and two arrested in Santa Cruz after they resisted arrest and exchange gunfires and detonated a grenade which destroyed windows of a hotel, other than that there were no other casualties.
Morales ordered the confrontation with the criminals after receiving intelligence of an assassination plots against him and Vice President Alvaro Garcia on the "Bolivarian Alternative for the Nations of Our America summit". More on the link below
